The holidays are here and the new year soon approaches. It is a time for reflection. Many people find themselves focused heavily on the losses of the past resulting in increased depression. Others find themselves focused heavily on the uncertainties of the future leading to increased anxiety. A few helpful practices: remembering the accomplishments of the past, writing a gratitude list and actively interacting with those around you.
